We are a small family building a sustainable permaculture farm to support our family and help our neighbors and community. Ripplemead Farm is home to Milk and Honey Herbs, Roadrunner Massage, and Pangaea School for the Healing Arts. We are a farm, of sorts... not a large agricultural farm, but a small family farm. In addition to our own veggies and eggs, we grow culinary and medicinal herbs. Also, we offer workshops, herb and weedwalks, massage therapy, and herbal consultations. This makes us a little bit less like a farm and more like a something which is hard to describe. We kept "farm" in our name because whether we are raising chickens, plants, providing healing sessions or teaching workshops; we are hoping to grow something... health! The name, "Ripplemead" reminds us of a place we love in Virginia. It also hints at two things we love Water and Honey. Soon we hope to have our own Apiary here on the farm. We have a few excellent recipes for mead, a product we hope to sell to local distributors... someday. Also, ripples are like tiny vibrations. You skip a stone, it creates ripples, they ring out, throughout the water, and affect everything else. We hope to send positive ripples of healing and good vibrations throughout our community, Western Massachusetts and beyond. | Ripplemead Farm
